Professional Sports Staff

Tom Given
TOM GIVENPRESIDENT
Tom is a graduate of St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and is directly responsible for food production, food quality, presentation of menus, and purchasing. He has been in the food and service industry for the last 40 years and has been full time for 35 years. He leads the menu design and on-site production efforts of Prom’s Golf Hospitality services at the Special Event. Tom directly supervises all the Chefs, food preparation, “back-of-the-house” food production, and culinary staff.
Bill Given
BILL GIVENVICE PRESIDENT
Bill is a graduate of Cornell University’s prestigious School of Hotel Management, and is directly responsible for sales, service, presentation, and “front-of-the-house” operations. He has been in the food service industry for the last 35 years and has been at it full time for the last 29 years. He leads our sales executives, service managers, and service departments throughout your event. Bill is responsible for training, scheduling and supervision of all service staff personnel, vendor relations, and our overall presentation of food and beverage at each corporate location.
Brenda C McFadden
BRENDA C. MCFADDENVICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & MARKETING
Brenda attended the University of Wisconsin – Stout, in Hotel/ Restaurant Management. In her 19 plus year career, Brenda has gained broad experience in all aspects of Food and Beverage planning, preparation, production, and sales. She has held positions as Restaurant Manager, Catering Director, Food and Beverage Director, and General Manager with prestigious firms such as the Minnesota Club, Midlands Hill Country Club, Carlson Companies, and Holiday Inns. Since joining the team at Prom in 1998, Brenda coordinated all aspects of the 1999 U.S. Women’s Open Championship, 2002 U.S. Senior Open, and 2005 President’s Cup. Although Sales is a large part of her responsibilities, Brenda is very involved in menu development and food presentation.
Todd Hanson
TODD HANSONVICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Todd graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1998 and started with Prom at the Buick Classic as an intern during the summer of 1999. After two summer seasons on intern status, he joined the staff full-time in 2001. Since then, his role has developed into overseeing budget development and implementation, developing and maintaining national vendor contracts, and managing tournaments. Even as the number of tournaments we cater for increases, he remains a part of the pre-event planning process for each event and attends as many tournaments in person as possible.
Brian Ruggles
BRIAN RUGGLESGENERAL MANAGER OF SPECIAL EVENTS
Brian graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and has held the position as General Manager since 1993. Prior to coming on board with Prom Management Group, he respectively held Management positions at the St. Paul Hotel – St. Paul, Minnesota, the prestigious Halekulani Hotel – Honolulu, Hawaii, and Murray’s, a Five Star restaurant in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The magnitude of Brian’s management experience extends to all facets of Prom Management Group. From the “front or back-of-the-house,” to all aspects of our concessions and operations, Brian’s ability to diversify has been vital to his role of responsibilities. Brian is instrumental in the pre-event planning process, coordinating vendor deliveries, and overseeing Concession and Corporate Hospitality locations.

JOE NAGELEXECUTIVE CHEF / PURCHASING
Before coming to Prom, Joe worked over 17 years in food and beverage at a primary convention hotel property, the Radisson-St. Paul. Joe’s area of expertise is in gourmet presentations and high volume production. He is has been named “Chef of the Year” in 2001 for the St Paul Chef’s Association-Minnesota. Along with overseeing the Professional Golf Division, Joe heads Prom’s local On and Off Premise Catered Events, one of the largest volume catering companies in the Twin Cities.
